Why goats milk? Goats milk has many vitamins including A, E, C, some of the B vitamins, amino and citric acids, unsaturated fatty acids and zinc. In addition, the proteins in the milk kill acne producing bacteria.
Goats milk has cream naturally which enhances the soaps moisturizing properties as well a natural glycerin. It also has a pH level close to human skin which prevents dryness and allows nutrients to enter the skin easily. There is no alcohol, petroleum, or preservatives which are commonly found in commercial soap and can irritate and dry out your skin. In addition to the milk from my own goats, I only use high quality oils, salts, clays, pigment powers, essential oils, and phthalate free fragrance oils. These ingredients add additional skin nourishing properties and a pleasant scent.
All my soaps are superfatted at a minimum of 5%. This means that 5% of the oils and butters used do not turn to soap. This adds a lovely moisturizing and softening quality to each bar.
As with all bar soaps, these are made with saponified oils and butters. Please keep out of eyes and open wounds. Flush immediately with warm water if irritation and burning occurs. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
Please be sure to check my ingredient lists to make sure you avoid anything you might be allergic to or that should be avoided during pregnancy or other health concerns. Please discontinue use if any irritation occurs. These are not tear free soaps. Please keep suds out of your eyes and skin wounds. Some of my bars are highly exfoliating so please be careful to not scrub too vigorously!
The majority of my soaps are approximately 4.5 oz/127 g. They come individually wrapped in paper.
